Four Steps to "You're Hired"

→ Step 1: Create an Account and Post Your Resume

Create a free account and post your resume. Your secure online resume allows us to match your skills with today's hottest job opportunities. We have years of training and experience matching the right people with the right positions. Our teams of professionals work within specific industries, so we can help you with your industry specific employment needs. Want to do some job matching of your own? Try Job Alerts, our free e-mail notification of job opportunities matching your criteria.

→ Step 2: The Phone Screen and In-House Interview

Once a recruiter has matched your experience and background with a comparable position, we will contact you to see if you're interested in the position. Your recruiter will explain more about the job responsibilities, expectations, respond to your inquiries, learn more about you, and possibly set up a face to face interview with the hiring manager. You may even be asked to meet with your recruiter beforehand, a great benefit.

→ Step 3: Your Client Interview

Once we review possible candidates, recruiters will only send one, possibly two of our very best candidates to the next step. This practically assures employment depending on the interview. Both candidates will have a structured face-to-face interview with the hiring manager. Your recruiter will work closely with you so that you will know as much as possible about the objectives of the position and the company beforehand.

→ Step 4: The Hiring Decision

At the completion of the evaluation process, a hiring decision is made, at which point a job offer may be extended to you. Following placement, your personal recruiter will continue to work on future job opportunities and assignments.

The Benefits of Contract Employment

Are you ready to begin a career filled with freedom, satisfaction, and growth? These are the main ingredients that make up contract employment. Through Allegis Group, Thingamajob places employees through a system known as Contract Employment, a general term for a variety of work scenarios. Allegis Group contract employees never incur a fee when our recruiters find them work and they also have a range of benefits that accompany employment. From entry-level to executive, job seekers are experiencing a different kind of hiring experience coupled with the flexibility and freedom that permanent employment sometimes lacks. Furthermore, the satisfaction and benefits that contract employees reap have dispelled any negative myths about temporary employment.

As a contract employee you will have continuous close ties with our recruiters. To ensure your satisfaction you will benefit from the following:

  • Weekly communication with your personal recruiter
  • Possible monthly scheduled lunches for updates
  • Up to 45 days before conclusion of contract your personal recruiter is ready to help you find other great employment opportunities

Other types of Employment

In addition to contract employment, Allegis Group also places professionals in longer or permanent positions, including contract to hire and direct placement.

Contract to hire refers to working on a temporary assignment, with the intention of going permanent. At the end of your project, the client may offer you a permanent position with their company. This solution allows you and the client to get to know each other before a long-term commitment is made.

Direct placement is working as a permanent employee. We can place you directly with a client, so you immediately become a permanent employee of the client who hires you.
